Past History
Richard Burbank was born into a middle class family in London in 1970 and was the youngest of three siblings. His mother and father, Eve and Alfred Burbank, were both involved in the journalism industry and by the time Richard was 10, they were both earning high amounts of money per year. An able mathematician and scientist, Richard was fascinated at an early age with how the world worked and after studying and achieving high grades in his O-Levels he moved on to studying Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Business at A-Level. Coming out with four A Grades, the intelligent 18 year old Richard moved on to studying Chemical Engineering at the Imperial College London, leaving with a top class degree. At the age of 21, Richard was now in a serious relationship with Natasha Jarrett and on the 26th April 1995 they were married. Due to Richard's high position as a chemical engineer, he quickly became fascinated with weapons and the military and in particular chemical warfare. The untimely death of Natasha due to a sever debiliating illness left Richard heartbroken and alone with a large house in the country. Becoming increasingly bitter and resentful of the outside world, the newly appointed CEO of Global Arms Development Core (GADC) began to show signs of stress and anxiety and was put on medical leave. He was never to return and formed his own black market arms organisation.
Co-Conspirator
Following Alfonse Estage's desent into the world of terrorism, Burbank began sourcing weapons to him in an exclusivity deal. Struggling to keep his head above the water, Richard agreed to go deeper by helping in a scheme against the mercenary Camden Simmons. Estage's overall plan was revealed to be thus; lure both Simmons and Burbank to a safehouse where they believed British traitor and Estage associate Mark Burns (See Bomb Voyage) to be held and eliminate them. Burns was killed by Warren Bouchez, Estage's right hand man and Burbank was shot in the back outside and was presumed dead and thrown into a ditch.
Alive and Revengeful
Unbeknown to anyone, Burbank survived the shooting and somehow escaped, the details if which to this day are unknown. Burbank allowed his personal medics to give him assistance but was forced to flee the country after his business was disbanded. A story was leaked suggesting his remains had been flown back to Italy and a fake gravestone was erected to maintain the illusion in the nearby cemetery. Burbank recovered from his injuries and was able to walk again several months later. It was during this time he was approached by a man calling himself only Reynolds, who put forward a chance for Burbank to get his revenge on Charles Jenkins and Simmons, the two men he blamed for his suffering. After agreeing to help blackmail and intimidate Simmons on Reynolds' behalf, Richard began working with Peter Moseley, a man he knew vaguely from his past.
