We’re a small friendly congregation which meets together every Sunday at 11.00 am. A warm welcome is extended to all who come, whether on their own or with family.
Due to the nature of the building we are able to be creative in our worship. On the first Sunday of the month we have our All Together In Church, ATIC, service where all ages gather together to worship God through song, drama, video, group discussion. Our ATIC services follow a theme for the term and are designed for us to explore our faith creatively and informally. After our ATIC services we have a ‘bring and share’ meal giving us a chance to make new friends and strengthen existing ones. On the second and fourth Sundays of the month we have our Family Communion Service, at which all are invited to come and receive communion. On the third Sunday of the month we have Morning Worship, which is an opportunity for us to explore what God might be saying to us through a particular bible passage, through word or meditation. We also have an active Sunday Club, meeting 3 Sundays a month. The children get a chance to explore the theme for the service in their own way.
During the week we have a couple of home groups giving people an opportunity to continue to explore and develop their Christian journey.
Servant King is in partnership with the Ridgeway Community Centre and therefore developing links with the user groups and within the community is an important vision for our church.
