I decided to pull the article Response to Bitterness Toward the Church and redo the article via a video which will be posted to YouTube and then here. Later.
(test footage for visual effects crew) (actual film footage from what i understand...) Everything I have read about this film is kinda back and forth. The release date is supposed to be October 2009. However, there is a lot of debate going around about how dark the film looks contrast that it is based on a kids book. Even rumors of re-filming to make it for kid friendly are going around. Odd enough about the films adaptation vs. the book. Author Maurice Sendak apparently is in love with the director Spike Jonze's vision for the film. So if the original author of the book the film is based on is pleased, I don't see any reason to change it just because parents think it might be to scary for their children. That is when you be a parent and not let your kid see it. Read them the book and then when they are old enough to appreciate the film adapataion of it for what it is then let them see it. I remember the book from when I was a child and I can't wait to see the adaptation on screen. A whole list of actors have been thrown around the only ones that look for certain are Max Records as the little boy Max and Catherine Keener as Max's mother. Other voices include (I can't confirm) James Gandolfini (monster Carol), Forest Whitaker (Ira), and other possible voices by Tom Noonan, Angus Sampson, Lauren Ambrose, I have even heard Benicio Del Toro might have a voice in the film. Like I said there isn't really much to go on for the film. We still have a lot of time till the movie is released in theatres and a lot could change by then. http://www.wtwta.net/ seems to be a pretty good source for information on the film (at least the most organized source). Just search around and you will find a variety of the images I posted here as also the test video I posted as well. I can't wait everyone. Boondocks Saints is in pre-production phase and everything seems to be going along smoothly. So two movies I can't wait for. Later.
