"Owner" Now Displayed in Member Tab
This was raised with a view to helping co-editors include site owners in things like newsletters. The owner of a site is now displayed under the members tab (listed as "Owner") and can be selected for the purpose of contacting for newsletters, private messages or any of the other functionalities within that tab.
When you click EDIT in the Blog module header, under the 'Co-Editors' tab you can choose to additionally give editorial rights of the Blog module to some members using the 'Only members checked below' drop down. In this setting these selected members have full editorial rights within the module.
In addition, we have introduced a collaborative setting. You are able to make ALL members of the site Blog co-editors by choosing the 'All members' drop down. In this setting the all of your site members can post new blog posts but they will not be able to delete posts.]]>
As a work-around the site editor can click on the EDIT button in the Blog module header and from the 'Co-Editors' tab select 'Site editors only' so that site editors can then see the 'Write new post' & 'Manage post' buttons.]]>
