In July 2008 we announced with great sadness the death of Jimmy Blanchard, guitarist and founding member of Simply Shadows. Jim was a jovial and positive man blessed with great talent on the guitar. May he rest in peace.

Paul Spooner retired from the Band in November 2008, due to poor health, and his place has been taken by Trevor Nobes  from Selsey, on rhythm guitar.
