WAC employs the following team of full and part time staff

Chike - Facilities Manager

Chike looks after our building, and is responsible for all of the hall hire and gallery bookings for WAC. Chike is also a great artist - you can see some of his work here!

Mark Pearce  - Book keeper
Mark is a local resident who joined WAC in August 2009 having worked with other local businesses for some years

Sharmi Kar  - Senior Advice Worker
Sharmi joined the advice team last year and speaks English, Bengali and Hindi.

Martha Orozco  - Advice Worker
Martha joined the advice team in December 2009,  Martha speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.  

Kerry Hill - Admistrator
Kerry joined WAC in September 2009.  She is an experienced secretary who has spent more than 10 years in banking.

Premises Team
Mustafa is our caretaker who looks after the building in the evenings and at weekends.
Marion Waite is our cleaner - you might not see her though, as she works very early.

Paula Alleyne - Joined WAC in February 2011. Paula assists Chike in looking after the building, which includes hall and gallery bookings, data entry and general facilities duties. 

Sara Bredemear - Chair of WAC Management Committee
Sara is the interim Chair and represents the Waterloo Legal Advice Service on the committee.

Ken Hamilton - Vice Chair of WAC Management Committee
Ken is a longstanding resident of the Waterloo Area and is involved in a wide range of community organisations. He brings valuable experience of premises management through his work with the Church Commissioners.

Jenny Stiles - Vice Chair of WAC and Head of Premises group
Jenny has been involved with WAC and AWG for over 30 years and was one of the founding individuals of the organisation

Aziz Islam - Trustee
Aziz is the Chair of The Bangledeshi Group, who have offices in the centre, and a board member of AWG (Association of Waterloo Groups).

Frances Forrest - Trustee
Frances has been a Trustee at Waterloo Action Centre since March 2010. 

Dr Patrick Harborow - Trustee
Patrick has been a GP in Waterloo since 1988 and became a Trustee in 2010.

Mike Tuppen - Trustee
Mike joined the management committee in 2011.
