Just been sent this pic of Warner House being converted into flats by a friend. As you can see from the bottom left, it was not originally all white as it is now. It was taken from a book called Reclaiming the City.

Hey,

Welcome to the Warner House webjam! We can use this website/forum to get to know each other, discuss anything to do with Warner House, the surrounding area and anything cool we find in London and want to share with other residents.

If you are a resident, click the 'join' button to the right and enter your flat number etc and I'll approve your membership.

Please note that this website is nothing to do with the management agent. It is for the residents by the residents and we welcome any ideas on how to improve it - just post a message in the forums.

cheers

Marcus (Flat 24)

It's a good idea to have the blog. Users should understand that there is a difference between the Managing Agents (Rendall & Rittner) and the Management Committee. The building is owned by the freeholders and the Committee are their representatives and it is they who instruct the Managing Agents. So this is basically a self-governing building.

I have at various times asked for ideas and feedback about the building. We sometimes get this at the AGM which took place on 1st September. We always have projects on the go, the new roof, new entryphones, improved and more economical lighting. We try to be responsive to all ideas.

There are, however, some problems which are outside the Committee's remit. David in flat 25 is concerned about a number of environmental issues and no doubt would be glad for the backing of others to enlist the help of the Council or other responsible bodies.

If there are issues about the building itself you want raised, please let me know.

Cheers
Bobbi
