In a while I will be giving a lecture day together with the brothers of JAM to an audience of about 300 students of industrial design. Last Febuary we premiered with a story about the reasoning behind communication. At the moment I am looking for a way to make the point of creating a shared language as seen from the perspectives of designers. As a designer you go through a process of steps & choices which ultimately manifests in a product or service. To do this in the best way possible designers need to work together and talk the same language.... walk the same talk.

This sketch came to me in the shower and represents the process of building the first shared letter in an alphabet of common understanding....

<status>Published</status>

PO in a book

Visual thinking by po

29th of May 2011

My biggest picture

This last friday was a day of closure and of a new beginning. It took a seven year road trip with friends and family for me to realize a few simple small life lessons. Those lessons enabled me to see beyond my own vision and open up to the possibilities of the shared mind. Not that I will be chanting for global peace any time soon (something I now believe in a whole lot more by the way...;), but working together with my partners on a shared story has resulted in a single word uttered by one of my friends (who also works for us)... PRIDE! This word is my fuel for the coming period of evolution and change. It is the one feeling that makes everything we went through worthwhile doing.

Our story of JAM will be developing on and will be growing into an insightful source of inspiration and guidance along our road of entrepreneurship. The next big challenge for myself is to see how I can connect my personal ambitions to the story of JAM and see how they are going to interact. This includes the way I use this channel to send out small signals and test their effects. I am working on the best way to do this ... securing my own story and building around it the connections needed to realize all ambitions that live in my range of effort... Keep checking the signal!

Succes ViP!
