The 3rd single to be taken from the #3 album 'The Betrayed' is 'For He's A Jolly Good Felon' - watch the brand new video for the track NOW on YouTube!

The video was filmed in Moss side (Manchester), and features car chases, council estates, plus a very special cameo from none other than Brick Top from the movie Snatch! A full-length cinematic version of the video with dialogue will also be available online very soon.

The single will be released in the UK and Ireland on 11th April (digital) and 12th April (7" vinyl) on the following formats:

1. 7" vinyl: limited to 1,000 copies! Etched on the B side.
2. Digital single: available from all download stores
3. iTunes bundle: 2-track bundle with the single and a live version of Dirty Little Heart (acoustic live at Union Chapel).
4. Remix single: 'Rinse and ReFix Edition' from Ian Watkins' side-project 'L'Amour La Morgue'.

LOSTPROPHETS to headline Camden Crawl!

Lostprophets are this year going to hold the prestigious slot of the Headline band at the Roundhouse on the closing night of London’s award winning city festival the Camden Crawl. The performance comes after a glorious homecoming gig in Cardiff and 2 recently added dates in Bournemouth and Folkestone:

Wed 28 April - BOURNEMOUTH O2 Academy
Fri 30 April - FOLKESTONE Leas Cliff Hall
Sat 01 May - CARDIFF International Arena
Sun 02 May - LONDON Camden Crawl, Roundhouse (click for tickets)

Ticket supplements for the Lostprophets Roundhouse show go on sale Friday 12th March at 9am. Ticket price for the festival is £55 (plus booking) and to get to the Roundhouse shows there is a £6.50 supplement.

Having recently completed their most extensive sold out UK tour for almost 6 years, Lostprophets have announced details of a new single set for release on 5th April 2010!

'For He's A Jolly Good Felon' is taken from the band's fourth album 'The Betrayed' which entered the UK album charts at No. 3 in January. The track is already proving a live favourite and will feature exclusive b-sides across the formats. A brand new video for it will soon be hitting the airwaves!

YOUR DEMISE held, searched at gunpoint at Canadian border

YOUR DEMISE guitarist, Stu Paice just posted a rather alarming story on the band's official Tumblr page www.yourdemiseofficial.tumblr.com about how the band was stopped at the Canadian border, searched and held at gunpoint by the police. The band are currently touring the US/Canada:

"As we headed our back into America from Canada, we decided to head to Tim Horton’s for the last time before we entered the states.

Shortly after leaving, everyone was full of bagels and coffee, drifting of to sleep, our rest was interrupted by the sound of 3 Canadian Police Cars. Sirens blasting, we pulled over completely baffled as to why we were being stopped as we had done nothing wrong.

So we stopped at the side of the free-way to the sound of, ‘Driver, get out of the car now’, at this point we had no clue what was going on. So Danny gets out and they tell him to stick his hands up and turn around, walk toward the car, we then saw a Policeman stick a gun in Danny’s back and drag him to the car, handcuff him and put him the back of the Police car. So now mental stuff was going through our heads. Next they shouted for the passenger (Pumpjack) to get out, Same thing, GUN, HANDCUFFS, CAR BONNET!.

We started to giggle nervously and heard, "All of you , Get out", so we got out and we were told to put our hands in the air and get down on our knees, the whole time, we were held at gunpoint by 2 Scumbags.

So we get out in the freezing snow, on the ground and the cop starts to search the van, I mean it was like 24 Jack Bauer shit.

It soon became clear that they had the wrong people and found it to be a bit of a misunderstanding. So it turns out the car in front of us, the driver had just shot someone, and we had basically just missed it happen. The Police were responding to it and thought it was us, when in theory they got the wrong car/van.

So an eventful last night in Canada

LOSTPROPHETS Afan Lido show is cancelled

Lostprophets' show at Afan Lido on 1st March is no longer going ahead due to the fire that occurred at the centre in December. Due to availability and scheduling the Lostprophets show has been moved to Cardiff International Arena on Saturday 1st May.

Those who bought tickets for Afan Lido remain valid for the Cardiff Arena show. For refunds, ticket holders are advised to go to their point of purchase.
