Tema Youth expel defender
Tema Youth have axed defender Yahaya Mohammed from the team after a bust-up with new coach Attila Sekerlioglu during last sunday's international club against Maranatha in Tema.
The former Nice defender had harsh words for the technical team after being told to warm-up to join the action against the Togolese side at the Tema Park.
The 21-year-old had constant altercations with his former boss Isaac Opeele Boateng claiming he deserved to start league matches and not to warm the bench.
"He claims he's fit for first team action and we disagree and as such we will allow him to exit and go where he can play regularly," A club official told Ghanasoccernet.com
Yahaya's one-year stay at the French Ligue 1 side was hampered by several injuries but has since recovered.
Tema Youth have slipped from second place to sixth-place on the Glo Premier League table after 10 match days.
Theo is one of many players that are looking for sponsors at Tema Youth in Ghana, if anyone is interested please leave a comment or send a e-mail to - discostew89@googlemail.com... Thank You
