The Great Fridge Adventure
A totally purposeless idea, but a damn fine one...

After leaving Inverness, we find ourselves in a man named Nicks' house along the banks of the Caledonian Canal. Since Inverness we've passed through the towns' of Dores, Drumnadrochit, Invermoriston and Fort Augustus. A special thanks to the Joinees who we met in Inverness and then again on the beach at Dores. If you're thinking, "What is a Joinee?" then take a look at: www.join-me.co.uk   For those of you who know the local area then you'll know that Dores is on the opposite side of Loch Ness to Drumnadrochit. Well, being the clever people we are (ish) we met the Joinees at Dores and then took a speed boat to the other side of the Loch. We took it to exactly opposite where we were, as to not be cheating, in fact we walked further! But, it made quite a scene for the people enjoying a pint in the Dores pub. You'll find some pictures in the media section. :) Other then that, the only exciting thing that's really happened is finding ourselves on the Great Glen Way, which has some mountains and awful footpaths. Oh and it decided to rain pretty much all day on Monday. Apparently it's going to do the same again tomorrow.

Cheers,

James

    Hi!

I'm the Canadian who was at Joinverness. (I'm not really a Joinee, just friends with one.) Anyway, it was great meeting you guys, and if you need pictures of your fridges being loaded into the speedboat at Loch Ness, let me know!

Good luck with the rest of your trip!
