You asked for it and now we've got it. Pay your yearly Club Membership dues right here from the convenience of your chair. Now you don't have to wait for us to send you an invoice, and we don't have to keep track of your billing info. It's a win-win situation for everyone!
Simply grab your credit card, click the 'SUBSCRIBE' button and that will take you to PayPal's page with our information on it. You will see that the company name The Purple Door is handling our subscriptions. In the box you will see that the subscription you are paying for is WashingtonGreenway's Cannabis Club 's Yearly Membership, the price you will be billed is $50.00 and that you will be billed for 10 cycles. That's so we don't have to worry about billing you for the next ten years, and you don't have to worry about updating your membership. You choose within PayPal how you want to pay for it, give them the information, and that's it. They will require you to give them a shipping address so we can mail your confirmation packet out to you. Once we receive this back with a copy of your I.D. and your doctor's verification paperwork, we will verify your paperwork with the doctor you have listed. (FYI: We have a list of black market 'fake' paperwork that is out there, so we know the scams that are going on.)  We're asking that you do things properly for the good of all of us who consume Cannabis. We will be asking for WGCC cards and picture I.D. to match the name on the card at all Private Club events. As we do our face-to-face meetings with authorities, and as this community grows and changes, the rules and requirements may have to change as well. As a Paid Member, you will never have to worry about whether you are in compliance. We will keep you so updated you will know every piece of paper that is signed into law as it happens...(Well, maybe not that informed. After all, it may be 4:20 at the moment and we might be busy doing other things..) The point is, you will be kept in the loop. If you ever do run into any trouble, you have the support of the entire club. We will do whatever it takes to make sure you and your family are taken care of. We want to provide the kind of loyalty and protection that is found only on the streets because we are in a war for the right to use a plant that helps us all! Sometimes war is ugly, dangerous, and bloody. Sometimes war is profitable and beneficial in order to see change. One thing war is not is boring. Put your adreneline to good use and help us fight the good fight. We have to do this for the generations that follow us. Do you really want your children to keep being taught that Cannabis makes people rape, kill, and steal under its influence? Do you want to see your child receive a felony conviction for doing the same thing you did as a teenager? Our best weapon is education coupled with the voice of many taxpayers. We need to learn before we can scream, and then there will be nothing that can stand in the way of these truths backed by our passion and dedication. We will establish a voice for our community and a reputation that is solid. That is key.

In order for our community to build trust within the larger community and with law enforcement officials, we have to keep our word. If we promise an event location that we will not medicate while we are there, we had better be willing to keep the rules, or let's not do it at all. If we are allowed to medicate, but only within a designated area, then we had better be prepared to keep our butts inside that tent at all times, or let's not do this at all. We don't want to be known as 'that trashy stoner club'. We want to be known for  who we really are: A diverse community of individuals who meet to unify, educate, and medicate. We also don't want to be known as 'that club that's trying too hard to be accepted into the medical community'. That's not us either. We are not a hospital for the aged and infirm. We are a Cannabis Community that also supports the use of Cannabis for medical purposes.Some of us are aged and infirm. Some of us are young and healthy. It is foolish for us to think that every member of our community uses Cannabis for medical purposes. We use Cannabis as a part of a GREEN lifestyle. This style of life has many components to it. Marijuana as medicine is only one part of it. This club was founded for the community to do what the community wants to do! Some may want to promote Medical Marijuana. Some may want to promote Cannabis as inspiration for the arts. (That's me!) Some of us want to learn how to incorporate Cannabis into their diet (I want to teach this). Some of us want to brag about the size of our Kolas. (That's not me, but I'll take the photos of them! ) Some of us may want to change the Cannabis laws. Some of us just want to meet cute girls who smoke pot, too. Others just want to show up and be told what to do in order to make a difference. There should be a little niche for all of us somewhere inside this community. But,  we have to become part of it in a tangible way; get out there, take risks. It's not easy; I know, to let go of the habit of 'hiding out' to enjoy your Cannabis. We have believed the Propogandists for so many years that we have forgotten the 'peace and love' part of it.  We've also forgotten that the generations under us are suffering.
CannaPrincess was born in 1969, the year many of you were running around stoned, listening to Hendrix and Cream with your naked coolies hangin' out. My generation grew up with Nancy Reagan and the 'JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS' campaign. Pot was a drug we were taught we could escape if we just had a good enough answer or fast enough legs to run from the demons who pushed it.  I didn't know that the green stuff was dried flowers for years because I was too scared to open the sack and look at what I had purchased. I thought we got 'dope' from grinding up marijuana leaves. I laugh so hard thinking about my innocence back then. I thought it was normal to buy an ounce and have to de-seed it before I could use it. Now I wouldn't pay a red nickel for some seedy product. I never learned how to use a bong. Isn't that hilarious? Here I am, almost 40 years old, and I don't know how to get a hit from a bong.  Where I grew up, you could go to prison for a long time just for having a seed in your possession. We didn't sit around with giant bongs for cops to discover, that's for sure. OldSkoolGuy still laughs because I cannot roll a joint properly. And my kids laugh because I can't make a blunt. These are the skills we can have fun teaching each other. And some more useful stuff, like how to roll an English cone...How to make hash, butter, and Cannabis cocktails. We can learn the many cultural ways to enjoy this plant. Did you know that it is bad manners to share your joint with someone from Jamaica mon? How will you find out what the rest of the world does if you stay in your house where you might be safe?
