Ways to Hook-up

Click this link to open CMNM WebCam Chat on Userplane. (Opens new window)

Chat with members of Guys Into CMNM networks (on this Webjam, on SocialGo, on Grou.ps, and other sites) who can also log-in from their respective sites.   It's a special GUYS Into CMNM chat room  with text, audio, and video (webcam).

I haven't figured out how to 'keep' your log-in name, so you'll be an anonymous user unless you 'login' to Userplane with your registered ID or a guest ID.   You should able to see if there are members already in CHAT by looking at the mini-chat widget on thia Hook-Up page ( righthand sidebar).

   CAM4   http://www.cam4.com/male

CAM4 is a webcam social network site, where you can view or broadcast webcam shows. You can watch for free (without registering), but if you want to particpate in chat or comment, you'll need to register (for a free account).  Once registered, you can have a profile page

such as:  http://www.cam4.com/chinnosuke

You can watch one webcam show at a time (free accounts), or add friends and favorites, make comments, and post photos or still shots from your own webcam broadcasts.

Looking for ways to hook-up with guys interested in CMNM?

Here's just one idea. There is a social networking site that's based around location.  It is called BrightKite.com  It might be a good way to actually to to hook up with other CMNM members (and similar minded guys on other groups) for casual (spontaneous) or planned hook-ups or encounter, or just a cup of coffee.

Here's how Brightkite works:   Using a PC or your cellphone, you 'check in' to a location - be as specific or as general as you want. You can allow 'friends' or even the public to see your short tweets (160 characters messages (similar to Twitter) posted from that location. Other members can also see who is nearby (within 20 feet (6m) to a 4 kilometer radius(6.4 mile).  Your posts can include photos too (from your mobile phone) and it integrates posts with Twitter, Flickr, and Facebook.  You can check for updates, set you check-in location also by cellphone. You can also put a Twitter 'widget' module  in your profile (here on webcam or other profiles) to let other know where you are and what you're doing.

Give it a try.  My BrightKite 'friendstream' is at  http://brightkite.com/people/sunbuns  although you won't be able to see much with first becoming my 'friend' on Brightkite.com    I have also put a Twitter widget on my Webjam profile page - so you can see the results. You'd have to be a 'friend'  to see the exact locations.

There are some other cool tools on Brightkite that integrate with Brightkite and Twitter data - such as Brightkite Google Earth (download KML object), and Brightkite Wall

Gay iPhone Apps: What works, what's hot and what's not

Does anyone else use the IPhone app- Free Foto Messenger? (FFM) A fellow Dudesnude members says "I'm into it in a big way at the moment. It's great way to trade live pics and chat. His name username is: jboy82 You can find more gay guys wanting to chat or find sex friends, gay connection or romance (LTR) on several iPhone apps. I have also become intrigued to find out what iPhone apps for gay connections will work, and how well they do so.

FFM (Free Foto Messenger) might become popular. Reviews, however, are ranting badly on the March update version; but so far so good for those who had downloaded a previous version. I often test iphone apps for several different markets and also different regions/areas of the globe. BREAKING NEWS: A new update of FFM was released April 21, 2010 - it seems to have fixed the problems mentioned earlier. Try it out for yourself.

So you find some more info below (and to be updated continuously in the weeks to come) as I try out gay iPhone apps

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

About FFM, Since you have to 'know' people already to actually chat - it's not so great for 'cruising' or casual hookups. There are other ones where that works well listed below. Normally in a good Iphone app, you can see the person's profile (m/f, age, location (general or specific), time online (or last time), Some allow choice of sexual preferences: Select a gay apps or a mixed one and then filter for gay men) to find local (or global) guys, and then start a chat - if things match up). Sooshi could have great potential because you can also search in a specific area by 'putting' yourself at a remote location.

So if you are going to be traveling soon, you can hunt for guys ahead (as you can do here on Dudesnude), but they can be online and ready to chat. Unfortunately, almost all but Grindr don't have many locals members - who are active and online. I've also used Grindr (probably the best iPhone app for hookup / making local gay friends) as many people have, but there are several others (see below). Wouldn't it be great if GWIP (Guys With Iphones, the site) and Grindr could be combined? Wow!

Take a look at these other apps when you have time: Purpll (prone to problems with finding locations outside US, allows private pics, also has a website for PC access), PinkMap (mainly for Europe but some global users too, no nudity allowed, has a website too), Gd Beta (nice format, allows 3 public and 2 private pics, local guys online), SpeedDate (requires subscription for any real info - irritating), Skout (recently greatly improved to compete with Grindr), Whoshere, Sooshi, Brightkite, Twitxr, ( both are location-based Twitter spinoffs, updates can broadcast in local area - but u risk getting 'outed' or harassed if public messages are too sexy or pornog. )

Knocking Video (already popular here on DN), Gaydar Light (doesn't work on my iPhone - other?), Aka-aki (gay & straight, based in Europe - slowly growing, but has some problems, cool 'sticker' system to form like-minded groups), Facetime2 (crashes often), I'm still trying out Dokami, and Foursquare for gay connections and usability. NOTE* Some of the above social networking apps are NOT for gay men only. You have to add your gender pref or search/filter for gay men/age etc to locate guys. Some do or don't have push notifications, although they all have free versions.

Anybody else into testing iPhone apps? I'm going to add some guys here posted your FFM ids here. It's for testing purposes - I'm not trying to hookup (at least at the moment). Besides, I live too far away now. PS. After further testing of FFM, I have found that: Damn it. FFM totally crashes (or maybe you guys had the old version). Apple iphone apps store reviewers are evidently correct. Oh well. back to the labs. I'm trying out a few other ones that ARE reported to work, and will get back to you on this blog later.

Ciao, Kelly

 sunbuns99 U.S.A. : Hawaii : Pahoa role: Vers. Bottom Original posting: sunbuns99*

There have been a couple of threads about various iPhone apps for meeting guys and possibly hooking up - at least for chatting, sharing pics or even webcam vids (taken with the iphone).
I think the jury is still out on Knocking Live Video (KLV). The main problem is that someone you might want to Knock (KLV) or be Knocked by isn't online. The KLV iphone app has to be running (or so it appears) before you can receive a 'knock'.
Free Foto Messenger (FFM) works somewhat better, but then you have to know someone's ffm ID first in order to 'chat' and exchange pics. Grindr and a few others allow you to see who's around your location and then you can chat or message them (depending on whether they are online or not).

There are also other sites for iphone web-camming apps. Have you tried Ustream Broadcaster? http://www.ustream.tv/mobile/broadcaster You can broadcast live video from an iPhone. It will send out a Twitter tweet to alert your followers when it starts. The video can be saved on your iPhone or on the website. Each user receives free webspace (and shortened URL) for storing his mobile videos which can be viewed directly from that site (on a PC/Mac). If live, people can also comment and Twitter to you (the broadcaster).

Using TWITTER as a 'message' board.

If you write a #TAG in your tweet (a key word preceded by a number sign/sharp sign)-- such as #dudesnude or #ustream (or #gustream = 'gay ustream', etc).

Then people (your Twitter followers or friends or even strangers) can search for those #key words (tags) in Twitter or in Twubs.com so see who is broadcasting.
In fact, you use alert anonymous gay guys (and everybody else too) if you are currently logged on to: #dudesnude, #grindr, #KLV, #cam4, #ffm by using these TAGS in your tweets. Twitter tags are searchable and you can also use some other iPhone apps or websites to see WHO is using those tags in your own geographic area -- leading to possible hookups or making new friends locally. Be sure to update your Twitter to add photo, profile info (username or your web profile, cam4 profile, username for ffm or KLV (Knocking Live Video) or DN profile, etc).

If more people start using the TAGs in Twitter, then it will become clear who's online and ready to Knock, FFM or Skype, or other video webchat / iphone apps.

Where can you post nude photos of yourself?

BLOG Privacy versus SITE Privacy

One thing you may not know is that: IT ONLY MATTERS WHERE YOUR NUDE PICS ARE HOSTED.   Japan does not block outside sites (at least most ISP companies in Japan do not).  Your blog was hosted on Blogger so the photos were not kept in Japan but were stored on Google's own web servers in the U.S.
It is not a crime to post naked photos of yourself that do violate international legal standards when the photos are not physically stored on your own countries' host web servers.

Your 'Out There' blog was not private at all; however, it was also not really possible to find it without seeing the URL in some profile of yours.
Blogger does not password protect blogs but you can make them for 'members only'.

There may be blog sites such as Wordpress and Typepad (or others) where you can set up  a password protection for members only.

There are plenty of gay sites where a viewer would first have to become a member (usually free) before he can actually see your profile or any pics on it.   I have shown some examples of such sites below:  such as Dudesnude or Manjam and other listed below or on my profiles (which can be found at:  http:kelly-sb.blogspot.com   (See the right-hand sidebar)

EMAIL:  One thing that I do is to have completely SEPARATE email accounts for my married, straight father / professor self, and another completely set of email accounts for my 'gay' self.

I think you're mixing up the two of them - which is perfectly for today's young people.  We are older and part of an established institution would not be so happy to have our 'gay' identities shown to everyone.

So I suggest you to make a 'gay/bisexual-only' email account and to use it solely when sending email and logging on to gay sites.

Also, there is a benefit of using email which is already part of a securely encrypted mail server:   NOTE*  the URL for a site:  https://
Google email uses such a system.  The 'extra' s after http <---
means that it has better security. Sending naked photos through email isn't a good idea since copies of the photo may be left on it. While most people don't ever look at  10,000 of emails every week (or day), there might be someone who could do so. If you are using a secure mail system, then all the files and email messages are encrypted and the image or words cannot be seen as copies left over on the server.

-------------------

My Blogger blogs (Google):

I can also make you a contributor (member) of one of my blogs so that you can upload photos or write message/texts.

It will probably be best if you used a different email address that the one you are using for your work, family, and 'straight' friends.

Tell me what email address is.  It's probably not good to use the one we are communicating with now but it displays your full name.

 1) There are quite a few places where you can upload nude photos.

Probably the best place is Flickr http://www.flickr.com
It is easy to use and you can set the privacy for your photos - at four different levels for EACH photo:  public (anyone can see), friends only, family one,  friends and family, and completely private.

You have to create a Yahoo account. Also, you can only upload 200 photos but that's a lot of naked pics.

I can send you an invitation to see some of my naked photos on Flickr:  It will come from one of my several Yahoo accounts:  hardtwoholed

Here is my Flickr account:
http://www.flickr.com/people/hardtwoholed/
YOU CANNOT see anything until you sign up and also change your SETTINGS so that you can look at sexual content.

Here is another Flickr account:
http://www.flickr.com/people/44864907@N06/

(There are no naked ones of me in there) So the account is considered 'safe' by Flickr (owned by Yahoo).  If your post a nude photo of yourself publicly, then Flickr will warn you and also will make your account labeled as 'unsafe.'   Unsafe accounts cannot be viewed by just anyone - so that also helps protect your identity.

Actually, I have at least 5 Flickr accounts since I can only save 200 photos, I sometimes need more for other types of photos.

2) Goggle also has a similar site:  Picasa (Google Photos for saving and sharing photos).
The photos you uploaded into your 'Out here' blog were uploaded also into a folder in the same Blogger account - but since you may have deleted it completely they might not be there anymore.
You can make each folder public or private. You can send invitations to people (like me) who will be able to view you private pics (but no one else can).

3).  One site I enjoy is Tribe.net

It's not for just gay people - but there are all kinds of people from countries all over - but there are also a lot of men who are gay.    In Tribe, you can create your own profile and add photos, a blog, and other stuff (pretty simple); you can also join (or create) your own tribe group - where members can share photos and have discussions privately.  Only people you admit as 'friends' will be able to see your private photos (or the photos in a private group).   There are many tribes that are related to sexual interests but NOT only those kind.

I will also send you an invitation to join Tribe.net  (after I know what email address of yours I should use to invite you.)

You can see my Tribe.net profile here (but you can cannot see my own 'private' naked photos - until I make you my 'friend' on Tribe.

http://people.tribe.net/sunbuns

4) Inside some sites, you can upload some private photos and then only your 'friends' can view them.

There are both gay and non-sexual sites .. such as

A.  Webjam.com    - You are already a member of Webjam, and also one of my Webjam friends.

http://www.webjam.com/sunbuns

When you look at my webjam profile, you can see much. But when you log-in, you will be able to see see my naked photos which I have made for friends only (people who are 'members' of a webjam are 'friends.')  See PHOTOS page (tab).

It's a little bit complicated to use Webjam, however.  You have to make new pages and add new 'modules' - which are public, private, or for members only (friends).

Here is your own webjam profile:

 http://www.webjam.com/ana104

(Webjam is very flexible and powerful too for creating useful social networking sites):  I have webjam one several topics (You belong to at least one of them)

http://www.webjam.com/cmnm
http://www.webjam.com/otoko

B. Glowfoto is another site where you can upload photos and then allow only friends to see them.

http://www.glowfoto.com/users4/sunbuns/
You cannot see my photos without knowing the password(s).
You can have a different password for each folder. I don't know what the limit for the number of photos, but it will allow you to upload a lot.

C.  Facebook  changed it's privacy policy about a year ago.
Now it's possible to upload photos that can only be seen by the specific people you allow. However, at this point, I do not trust Facebook to keep its word about this policy.
So far, I have not uploaded any naked photos of myself in Facebook.

But I really enjoy using it to stay in touch.

http://www.facebook.com/sunbuns

(of course, I also have another Facebook account for my 'real self' - the married college professor father)

D. There are plenty of gay sites  and also quite a few iPhone applicationswhere you can create a profile and have public and private pictures.

http://www.dudesnude.com

http://www.dudesnude.com/members/9156/

You can see all my PUBLIC photos but not the ones I have made 'private.'  There is a password that is needed in order to view those.  There is a limit (about 25  I think) to the total number of photos you can upload on your DN (dudesnude) profile.

You can choose whether or not to allow this profile to be published or not, and which photos will be private or public.  There are ten of thousands of members of Dudesnude.com from all over the world.  So it's popular with the gay population.

Manjam is another site:

http://www.manjam.com/sunbuns

(You can't see all the photos until you log in).

OK.. that was MUCH more information that you probably needed or wanted to know.

Let me know your other (or bisexual/gay) 'email' address, then I can send you some invitations to view my hidden sites or photos.

Kelly
