This has been around for a little while so you may have seen this, but with a lot of Google products, it hasn't been publicly announced with a big marketing campaign. Google Internet Stats allows for generic statistics that Google obtains online to be transferred into anonymous information for people to use as data. It also allows (to my understanding) regular users to add their own information. A useful tool for those analytical heads!
