When we leave Sunday worship, we pray those words above, words that direct our hearts to mission. We pray this, ask this, knowing that God will provide those He calls with what they need (opportunity, strength, insight, compassion, etc) in order to respond to His call to serve His Kingdom and love your neighbors.
The vestry has read, prayed, listened and talked about this matter and under Father Rob's leadership we embarked on a journey of prayer and action. Now the invitation is open to the Parish to join us in these journeys which for each of us has several intentions and expectations:
This web site offers great possibilities for each of us to share and collaborate in our prayers and daily journeys that meet at the questions: “What is God calling St. Aidan's to do for Him in Mission to the World ?”; " What is God calling for me to do in living out my life in faithful service to Him ?"
When we share our journeys with its ups and downs we inspire and teach one another in profound ways. When we gather to hear some of our testimony with all the passion and emotion it elicits, it becomes an even more powerful motivator for our own journey. Such is the power of God to change us in the ways of His choosing.
This site will help us stay connected. Use it, make a link for it, visit it 3-4 times a week to share, to hear, to inspire, to listen to God’s call to you—and make you ready to reach out to others in His name.
Good journey to all!
