It was a long time since I've put a video clip from japanese pop stars... I'll correct it just today to introduce a famous pop singer born in 1961 : Eiko Kawashima alias "Anri "

She was the first japanese pop star to have the chance to see one of her song adapted to an animated TV serie. By chance the title of her beautiful song was Cat's Eye like the manga/animated TV serie adpatation in 1983.

I' sure you know this manga or animated version, it's talk about three sisters who stole some art objects from her father. And they are wanted by policemen as a boyfriend of one of her...

Anri did her last album for now in 2007 and was congratulated few times even by another countries like USA or England where she sold a lot of album during 80ies and 90ies.

If you watched winter games of 1998 in Nagano perhaps you saw her perfomance when she ended winter games.

I was really amazed about her energy when I discovered her few years ago (to not say decade). I'm really fan of animated and some artists was very good and song beautiful one. like her theme song she give a good vibe to the universe of this manga. It's why you she inspired another theme for City hunter ;)
