Timing and fixtures will be sent out to teams entered  two to three weeks before tournament.

Warm-up and some drills to get us ready for the tournament!

Registration & Team Brief for Captains
The team captain must register their team for play by 10.30am.
11.00am
Tournament Starts
Round 1 (round robin)  Round 2 (knockout stage)  Successful teams will continue onto the Semis/Finals. (Depending on the number of teams entered, there will be a cup and plate group)
4.30pm
Awards
Trophies and medals will be awarded to the winners and runners up of the tournament. In addition there will be awards for best player of the tournament.

Tournament Rules

GENERAL

1. All matches will be played under All England Netball Rules
2. Please make sure all jewelery is removed and nails are cut short and smooth

MATCHES

3. All matches will be duration of 13 minutes, 6 minutes each way, with an end  Change at half time – 1 min break.
4. Substitutions may be made at during the end change (half time).
5. There will be no injury time added on in any match, teams should substitute an injured player as soon as the injured player can leave the court
6. If a match has to be stopped due to inclement of weather, if more than half of the match has been played the score will stand
7. All matches will be centrally timed, however the games will still start and stop on the umpires whistle once the horn has notified for the start of finish of any game
8. If any team is not on court for the start of the match, the match will automatically be awarded to the opposition team that is on court

SCORE CARDS

9. At the end of every match team captains should take score cards from the umpires and immediately take them to the scoring / information desk.

PRE-MATCH

10. All teams should be ready 5 minutes before the start of their match.
11. Teams should ensure they have tossed for 1st centre pass before the start of their matches.
12. Teams should be ready to take the court with bibs on, immediately as the teams playing before finish play and are leaving the court

POINTS / SCORING

13. 5 points will be awarded for a win, 2 points for a draw, 1 point if a loosing team score 50% or more of their opposition goals
14. At the end of round 1 in the event of a tie on points for a position, final Positions will then be decided by the following order:

i.   Difference of Goals For and Against

iii. Most Matches Won

ii.  Most Goals Scored  

iv. In the event of their still being a tie the final decision will be made by the Tournament organisers.

15. In the semi-finals or finals if the result is a draw at the end of a game extra time will be played (6 minutes), then if it’s still a draw a penalty shoot out. (If there's time limitation it will go straight to a penalty shoot out).  

DISCIPLINE

16. Any verbal, physical or unacceptable behaviour not in the spirit of netball directed at any umpire, player or official may result in that player and their Team being suspended from the rest of the tournament.
