A mate in Nottingham is lookin for an original shape Snett seat (70's/80's style) & will consider any condition & pay good money, esp if its got the orig' "Snetterton" wording on the back. Bizz & Myself(Brad) have received a request from a guy (Bob Corcoran - "Korky" - ex Roadrunners SC from many moons ago) concerning a charity event at the Alvingham Road Day Centre (nr Lincoln Imp) being held on Aug 15th from approx 6pm until 8.30pm.

It is a sort of nostalgic bike night for the residents and it is for Charity, Bob has asked if any members or friends of the club or even readers of this site for that matter, would be willing to take their scoots down there and show them with the other vintage bikes etc that will be on display. He is looking for older styled machines (Series 1's & 2's mainly - but Series 3's done originally will do) that the older residents will remember better from their past.

The Evening Telegraph will be in attendance so its a good chance to get one up on our very own Mister Photo Opportunity Slinger. I realise as a club we havent many "older" styled bikes, but there is a few & others around town. If your interested or know anyone  else who might want to attend, or leave their bike for an hour & nip off to the Imp, then post on here or ring Bob Corcoran himself on 01724 858695.

dave kirk has booked the campsite at brandy wharf on august 2nd for the club get together. any scooterist is very welcome to turn up on the night. there is a pub across the road that does nice food and barbeques are welcome, so see you all there.
