Back to Pick Written on 09-Oct-2008 by Our team started off with a bit of head scratching inside the museum before realising one of the locations was probably going to be Blackfriars - we ran off to Embankment to catch the tube over to the station, grabbing a couple of photos of tube roundal inspired designs on the way.

After emerging from the exit - we found the first catch of the day.
We followed a second clue down towards the river, but after wandering round for a while without luck headed over to Temple for a couple of clues there, and then up towards the now closed Aldwych station for a photo - and then up towards Kingsway for (incorrectly as it turned out) a hoped for clue.

Fortunately, we were on the right road for the Holborn photo, so we didn't waste too much time.
A decision that it would be quicker to walk to Chancery Lane than take the tube (heathens!) and we found a famous location, although the view had changed a bit from the clue as the clue was an old b&w photo.
There we also were hunting for a bus stop clue - but just couldn't find it, even though we later found out that we were practically next door to it. We had time, and a hint that one clue might be inside City Thameslink station (it wasn't) so we wandered over there and after a bit of fruitless hunting decided to have another go at the riverside clue - and by chance noticed the tiny little roundals on a refurbished subway.
Our whooping for joy and photo taking attracted the locals from the pub who came over to ask what on earth we were up to!
Then off towards Old Bailey where we thought a legal clue would exist - but didn't and then over to St Pauls to hunt for a few clues - some we found, and only about a power supply which I thought was the ventilation shaft proved impossible to find.
One clue was for a tube repairs sign, which was aptly located next to a sign for a shoe repair shop.
Sore feet ruled that we would surrender to that failure and turn towards the local pub where the event finished.
