Rottingdean Cricket Club was founded in 1758 and this year will be celebrating its 250th Anniversary. We will be holding events to commemorate, and wish to involve the whole club and the local community.

As far as the playing side of things are concerned, we are happy to announce that our league sides have gained promotion this year. This makes for an interesting and challenging season ahead.

All players are welcome, and as we have 6 playing sides a week, you're sure to get a game. If you're interested in joining us, please click HERE for more information.

6 A SIDE COMPETITION @ THE DEANERY

On 10 th August (Sunday Week) 8 teams of finely tuned athletes (and Andy Bird) join in battle at the Rottingdean Bowl in a 6 a side competition. Starting at 10 o'clock in the morning (Yes guys there is a 10 o'clock on Sunday mornings). Bar open all day and a Hog Roast in the evening. General photo of all in attendance to mark the start of our 250th ANNIVERSARY. Dorian has even promised to comb his hair so join him and party!!!!!!!!!!

ROTTINGDEAN CC IN THE GOLDEN YEARS OF THE 50's & 60's!

Bill Head, a former member of Rottingdean CC who now lives in the US, sent us these photographs of our club from the golden years of the 50's & 60's! The above photo was taken by the Brighton & Hove Herald in 1957. Henry Blythe was the captain at the time, talking to Norman Barling and with Tony Salisbury on his left. George Hales is on the far left of the photograph, and Bill Head is on the far right hand side.
