]]>Published9646c0db-65a4-4248-85b5-fd551144c0c6Nisei Parade video10-Nov-2009Rome looked cool as a cucumber in the Nisei parade video, and he was having lots of fun as well.  He is so charming and funny.  What a guy!  His Samurai guys were fantastic, too.  Rome teaches them the skills of Samurai sword fighting, and the philosophy of Samurai.  You all probably know Rome is a Samurai Master!  He is also a master of comedy!  

Rome was wearing the red tie we gave him for his birthday last June, but, for some reason, it didn't look as red on the video.  Sort of disappointing, but, it really is red!  Remember, Rome fans, the link is still up for you to go to, to sign the petition to bring back ISAJGS.  We need many, many more signatures on it before it can be sent to the network.

What's that about!  lol.  Green tigers are up first.  Poor Brent is having a hard time trying to keep his balance on the conveyor belt while throwing luggage!  Rome is cracking up.  Rome has the cutest laugh, or should I say giggle.  The red robots are up now, throwing luggage. this is just too funny.  But the green tigers win again!  OMG, being that there are only two red robots left, they must compete against each other in the elimination game. WHO WILL BE SENT BACK TO THE STATES???!!!  The winning team has had some awesome rewards this season, last season, too, but this one is really amazing.  To be honest, I'd enjoy the losers "rewards" too.  Wonder what kind of monks they are!  Justin, you need to get over it!  Degrading?  NOT!  OK, Rome is looking so cute, but green jacket and pink shirt?  Oh well. Elimination game!  Looks like Justin may be in trouble!  Way to go Megan, she did a good job busting so many balloons.  Commercial breatk. Just a quick update. I've been busy with some projects, so I haven't been to class. Hence, no updates.

But... Rome did tell me to clear up something, which I will do now. 

In the past on this blog, I've stated the Rome is a perfectionist with regard to Samurai Class and Acting. Rome said, "No! I am not a perfectionist! If I wanted perfection, you'd all be fired! I'd fire myself! What I want, is for each student to do their absolute best that I know they can do."

So there you have it. Rome is NOT a perfectionist, just a really great teacher. (And on a personal note, a great friend too.)

]]>Publishedd1f418d1-0d4d-45a9-a157-ff15481a63c8Episode 6.23-Jul-2009I keep saying how can the shows get any better, but they do.  Brain freeze, OMG!  I felt their pain.  That Brent was awesome, in fact, he is HOT!  Enjoyed his Sumo attire, or lack there of.  But why the blank out of Sumo butts?  We've all seen cheeks before!  Oh ya, it's a family show.  I think giving those Sumos a massage would have been fun.  All that tostosterone.  How about some deep "tissue" massaging!  lol.  Behave Mickey.  I think Jamie should have reminded the guys left on the red robots that she just competed in an elimination contest, and told the guys to compete against each other.   Now about our Rome.  So cute, so animated.  Can you ever get over that cute giggle of his!  Wardrobe is dressing him much better in the American version than the Norwegians did.  No clown outfits.  Looking HOT, Rome.  I still wish we'd see more behind the scenes stuff about him.  Got to keep getting all  those e-mails going out to the production company and the ABC Network, to let them know we want to see more of Rome.  HAI MAJIDE!
