Rome's Next Movie Is Coming!

The time in Osaka, Japan is now:

POST IT NOTES FROM MICKEY:

Nov. 20, 08  Hi Rome fans.  Our guy sent me an e-mail today.  He is in the middle of a move but he wanted to let everyone know he is thinking of his fans, us, sends his affections and greetings, Rome has several projects going  on at this time.  He promises to write more once he gets moved.  The REALLY GOOD NEWS is that the I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW, show will be concentrating more on Rome this second season.  Does that mean we will see more of Rome???  YES!!!! OMG! we surely hope so!  After all, the show is, and should be ALL ABOUT ROME KANDA!!  Yes, ISAJGS is a good show! The courses in the last show were fun, the contestants were cute, good, etc., but there was just not enough of ROME!  Yours truely may be partial, but that's only because I think Rome is way more talented than most of the people who consider themselves important celebs in LA and NYC, you probably agree.  Just MHO!   Anyway, Rome Kanda fans, things are getting exciting!  Keep up your support for Rome!  Rome Kanda Rocks!

Nov. 13, 08.  Good news Rome fans:  Rome has returned to LA.  Yaaa!!!He sends his best to everyone.  Rome said he will be taping the I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAMESHOW early next year, that's not too far away, and it will air over the summer, like last year.   I wonder if the contestants have been chosen, hmmm.   So now, who knows what is going to be happening for Rome in the near future.  Stick around and whenever I get news from Rome, it will be posted here.

Nov. 6, 08  I got an e-mail from our Rome overnight.  He sends his best wishes to all of us and his love.  He said he may be returning to LA soon but will let us know later.  All is well with him.   He has exciting news I think.  I told him we really miss him and can't wait for him to return.  HANG IN THERE FANS!

Oct. 28, 08.  Good news from Rome this morning. Rome will most certainly, and soon, be famous ALL OVER THIS GREAT PLANET!

I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAMESHOW has been sold to the following countries:  CANADA, AUSTRALIA, SINGAPORE, PHILIPPINES, NEW ZEALAND, DENMARK, SWEDEN and NORWAY.  WOW, THAT'S GREAT!!!   This also could mean that our Rome Kanda will be picked up for much more in the way of big movies, personal appearances on TV, commercials, who knows what the future holds for our very own

Mr. Fantastic Rome!  YAAAAYYYY!  YIPEEE!

GOOD NEWS!  I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAMESHOW will be back for a second season!  Did we ever have any real doubts?  NO!  Congratulations Rome!  You ROCK!!!

"They are all.....perfect."  New ramblings in the blog section.

October 7, 08.  Got an overnight e-mail from Rome! 2:50 a.m. Pacific time.  Says: " Just a Hi!  Thank you for supporting me.  I'm always thinking about my precious fans.  I will let you know everything when I return....Rome."     I get goosebumps just thinking of what news Rome will have for us when he gets back to the states!  That's it for now, Rome fans.

Good morning Rome fans. That is the best news ever, that Rome will be seen more on the ISAJGS show. He is what makes the show great! Without Rome as the host the show would just be, good! Our thanks should go to Rome for letting this site be available. Even though we don't hear from him as often as we'd no doubt like to. ROME ROCKS!

Good morning all. Hope everyone is safe and sound and waking up to a beautiful day. Getting cold here now. Only in the 30's, but I'm ok with that. Love the cold! Hope everyone out west is safe from those destructive wildfires. Take care everyone. I'll talk to you later. Rome, we're anxiously awaiting news of your trip to Japan.

Dear Rome fans:  I can't tell you how many times I've watched the movie THE LAST SAMURAI.  You will never know how many tears roll down my checks while I'm watching the movie.  WUSS HERE!  I promise myself that I won't watch it ever again after I see it, but I've seen the movie some 30 times already, and each time it comes on television, guess who has to watch it.  I've totally fallen in love with Katsumoto, and I cry like a baby when he is killed off.  But it's just a movie Mickey!  This movie, I can say with some certainty, is Rome's favorite movie, too.  It was on TV tonight, so guess what, I was watching it, again.  I did watch BROOKLYN RULES Good movie but not enough Rome, before watching THE LAST SAMURAI  I will probably have a nightmare tonight with all the violence I've seen today.   Anyway, when it comes on again, I will watch THE LAST SAMURAI.  And my tears will flow freely again, in buckets.  And I will appreciate them because I know that there is one very special man who will also be watching this movie every chance he gets!  Just wish I didn't cry so much!!!

Hi Rome fans.  Just got an e-mail from Rome, he said to tell all his fans HI for him!  He is in Japan preparing for his next project, which he can't talk about as he stated in an earlier e-mail.  But he said we will know soon!  Rome said I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAMESHOW  will air in the Philippines, and New Zealand, as well as Singapore, soon!  Rome asked that we not send him gifts or anything, for the holidays, to the address listed on this site, until after he returns from Japan ( the date is currently unspecified) simply because it is his manager's office and, with Rome being away, his mail won't get picked up for quite a while.  Rome appreciates our kind thoughts but hopes we understand.  I assured him we do understand and we will abide by his wishes.   Rome is still teasing us with the goodies to come, says to be patient!  I did ask him to try to send us a picture or few of him from Japan if and when he has time.   I'm betting that before he returns he will send something. He is very nice that way. That's it for now Rome fans.  Short I know, but treasured, as are all of Rome's e-mails.

Hi Rome Kanda fans;  news from Rome.  Something very exciting!  First, Rome said, and this is straight from those beautiful fingers on his graceful (my opinion) hands "And tell all my fans that I love them so much."  That is awesome!!  And we love Rome as much.   Secondly, Rome is heading to Japan very, very soon, to spend time with his  parents and brother, but, he will also be working on something there that we will get the benefit of when he finishes and returns to the states.  He can't give us anymore information on that work now because it's confidential!  He asked for our understanding and patience.   Rome is wrapping up the projects he has in the works here in the states for now then he will be leaving.  Hang in there fans, remember the commercial is coming soon, just ten days!!!  Don't forget to watch Unbeatable Banzuke.  And, only six more months until the movie THE INFORMANT comes out.  We will survive with all this (Rome candy) until he comes back!  I know everyone joins in with good wishes for Rome to be safe, to have a wonderful visit with his family, and KNOCK-EM DEAD in his job in Japan.  We send you off with our love, too, Rome.  Hope to hear from you when you get there, the first opportunity you get.

YAYYY, mail from Rome today.  He sends his greeting to everyone.  Rome said he is currently very busy editing a short film he is producing LA YAKUZA, among other things.  He promises to write when he has more time.  Rome also said that his show I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAMESHOW, will launch in Singapore, the 2nd of October, on Channel 5.   That's GREAT!!!  We all know that Rome is a very well known, popular celebrity in Japan, and now he is getting well know, respected and admired in the states and probably Europe.  But it's really exciting that a show produced by an American network (ABC), taped in Japan with American contestants, shown in primetime on American TV, is now going to be shown in south eastern Asia.  Yaaaa!!!  WOOO HOOO, ROME KANDA ROCKS!  Today Rome, tomorrow the world!!  Think about that one!
