Rhythms of Life International (RoLI) is a charity that helps the homeless from its base in Dalston, North East London. Every day, 365 days per year, we serve food to the homeless from 5.30 to 7.30pm. As well as providing nutritious meals, which are cooked and served by a dedicated team of volunteers, we provide emotional and practical support.
RoLI was registered as a charity in July 2008 and is slowly but steadily growing in size. At the moment, we have around 50 volunteers from all over the world. The charity is coordinated by Andrew Faris - an inspirational figure.
It's our aim to serve healthy and nutritious food to the homeless. Thanks to a talented and dedicated team of volunteers we are able to provide hot meals for the homeless everyday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. We cook the meals and serve them from our base at 23 Crossway, Dalson, London. You can see a map of where we are in the Toolbox section.
Food is donated from a major supermarket and sandwiches from Pret a Manger.
