First up, it's
Elin from
Västerås in Sweden. She is is an 18 year old entrepreneur student and likes dogs, cupcakes, Ben & Jerry's and Hamleys teddybears.
Elin has been a much valued volunteer in the office for the past three weeks. She is here for a six week internship and her volunteer role involves keeping in touch with contacts from other organisations, answering the phone, responding to the many e-mails that we receive, arranging meetings with volunteers, and helping with whatever else comes up from sorting clothes to cooking food. So Elin really has been very busy.
When asked why she decided to volunteer at RoLI, she replied "I wanted to do the work where I would be needed and wanted, so I could actually learn something and do valuable work, all at once. It is also a great opportunity for me to improve my english and meet lots of wonderful people."
Elin also added, "Volunteering at Rhythms of Life has been so much fun and I have learned a lot in these past three weeks."
We'd like to say a big thanks to her for all the hard work she has done over the past few weeks and we hope she spreads the word about RoLI in Sweden on her return.
