We have also seen a huge swell in numbers. We are now regularly getting 45-50 members which means that we are able to attempt a far more tricky and diverse repertoire. Recently we have been practising “Dancing in the Street” with some difficult syncopated rhythms punctuated with off-beat clapping! The “Hallelujah Chorus” has also been high on our list of priorities and it is now sounding fantastic – we can’t wait to perform it in a few months time. We are currently singing the hit by U2 “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”. It is coming together well and will definitely be on our concert programme this year.

This has been a great year and it has been a pleasure to direct the choir. It has been fantastic to see our numbers grow and to see all that we can achieve. Each week we practise, sing but most of all we laugh! It is a wonderful group of people to lead and we are always looking for new members. So, if you have a love of singing (whatever standard you are!) come along and join in the fun – you are incredibly welcome!

We'll post details of the concerts on here soon, but in the meantime keep the 1st and 16th of June free!
