The Hatikvah (Hope)
As long as a Jewish soul
Still yearns in the innermost heart,
And eyes turn eastward
Gazing towards Zion,
Then our hope is not lost,
The hope of two thousand years,
To be a free people in our land,
The land of Zion and Jerusalem.
