Prayer for an Anniversary

Lord, who makes times pass and seasons change, You appointed for our people festivals of gladness and seasons of joy, for our remembrance is always before You.

On this day I come before You with my private memories, and thank You for my own experience, and for companionship and love.

Whatever the future brings may this day always renew my spirit, giving me happiness on my journey through life.

My heart is grateful for the kindness You have shown me. Bless me also in the years that lie ahead.
