Firstly I need to apologize for not updating sooner. I really have been rather busy and as the saying goes time flies lol.
Hmm where to start. Coco has been doing really well in the show ring and we couldn't be prouder of her. This summer we got our first win at a champ show! In fact two first place red cards at the same show! She won post-grad and the special beginners at NOEDC champ show. Special Beginners was an extra special win as it is the "Mrs Monica Davidson Konavlje Special Beginners".....Coco has a pedigree going back to lots of Konavlje lines.
Hopefully we will have lots more to be proud of and will try to keep more up to date.
Well I thought it was about time I did another entry! The puppies are adorable. They are nearly 4 weeks old and i can't believe in only 3 weeks they will be on their way to their new homes! It is going to break all our hearts - no matter how many times we tell Holly, our toddler, that the puppies can't all stay, I know shes going to be upset. She spends loads of time in the puppy pen playing with her little friends.
As the title says our puppies arrived today. The first arrived at 2.15pm and the seventh was here by 4.54pm. They are all adorable - 3 girls and 4 boys. Penny is doing a fabulous job of being a mummy and is very proud of her babies.
Its getting very exciting now. Only two weeks and the puppies will be here! Penny is getting fatter now, she's also used to the idea of being full of puppies too. Penny is now fully of the opinion that she has to lie on the sofa at every opportunity. She is a very active dog but has slowed down so much now.
Holly our little girl, who is 2 yrs old, is spending lots of time saying "Hello babies" to Pennys tummy. She takes great delight in telling everyone about the puppies in Pennys tummy. Its so adorable.
hi - we had a very exciting time at the vets yesterday as penny was scanned. we could see the little puppies wriggling about. i managed to get a photo of the screen as the printer wasn't working at the vets.
the black areas are the sac with the puppy inside being the white blurry bit.
We live in the North East of England in County Durham. We show Coco our liver Dalmatian. Penny will be returning to the ring with our eldest daughter Charlote in Veteran classes. Our youngest daughter Holly is chief dog patter and hopes to begin showing in 2012 when she is 6yrs old.
