Today it houses the <a href="http://www.trivago.co.uk/cape-town-50652/zoo-aquarium/two-oceans-25931">Two Oceans Aquarium </a>, numerous craft markets, an Imax Theatre and immense shopping complex.  This makes the <a href="http://www.trivago.co.uk/cape-town-50652/walking-sightseeing-tour/victoria---alfred-waterfront-25921">V&amp;A Waterfront</a> the ideal place to while away a few hours.
