Undoubtedly making rhetorical allusion to the alleged difference in policy between himself and McCain with regard to holding dialogue with the likes of Ahmadinejad etc., Obama's speech on occasion of officially accepting the Democrat nomination yesterday contained the following line:

"John McCain says he'd follow Osama Bin Laden to the gates of hell, but he won't even follow him to the cave where he lives."

I had not realised that the Bin Laden Tea Rooms were already open.Must pop across!!

p.s. This is quite a neat observation on the part of BBC Reporter, Justin Webb: "20:29 By the way - it's a stunning evening here in Denver. I mention this because some fundamentalist Christians of a right-wing persuasion prayed for rain - proof that God is a Democrat?"
