I have put up some new documents for you:
More detail about Laddering, the techniques we talked about, the Blob tree for you to use and a copy of an article that makes a good introduction to online research.
Just ask if there is anything else you need
Joanna
Thanks to all of you who have sent in some issues in advance. We'll work on these together. I'll summarise them here:
How to get respondents to confirm a theory without using closed questions
How laddering can be used in practice
Techniques to follow complex discussions
How to keep respondents’ interest and stop repetitive discussions
Learn how NLP can be used
Stop bland feedback on comms issues from professionals who are not engaged
Using pre and follow up tasks and linking them to the group
Helping respondents get their head round a brand – researching various elements
summing up: how to encourage groups to push their ideas / comments further in the closing stages of groups
ideas in general for moderating individual or group accompanied browsing of websites
tips for interviewing expert or professional respondents, especially how to get them to discuss their views on broad strategies concretely and in detail
Hi Everybody
Welcome to our private network. To the right you will see a list of files you can download and I will put up more as we go through the course. This course is unique in offering an open session where we can work through issues that you bring, such as motivating respondents to talk about stuff they are not interested in.
We often find that people want to use the opportunity to try out a projective technique but are not sure what is available, so you could look through the Outline Guide before you make your requests. Ideally I will know beforehand what people need so I can prepare materials. Please ask for any other information you need to help you make up your mind.
You can see what is already included in the day plan,
Joanna
