Brasserie Lipp, a café that was frequented by Ernest Hemingway is known as a meeting place of the stars and local socialites. Nestled between the French Senate and the National Assembly, Brasserie Lipp maintains a busy rotation of coffee and delights throughout the day. Opened in the 1870's by Leonard Lipp, the café has maintained the family name even after it was acquired by Marcellin Cazas in 1920.

Noted as one of the most famous Paris cafes, the Café De La Paix is a place to visit before or after a night out at the opera. The coffee is expensive but is well worth it because of its location and design. Designed after Charles Garnier, who is famous for the design of the Opera De Paris, the café emulates the same. If your Paris apartment is within walking distance, enjoying the opera and Café De La Paix is quite convenient.

Located on 167th street, the Le Dauphin is more than one hundred years old. It sits right outside the Andre' Square and is a great resting spot from all of the traffic congestion.

Le Dauphin does not have seating outside, which is a not an option when you want a break from your apartment on a cold night for dinner. Over the years Le Dauphin has grown into a household name causing additional space to be added for its patrons.
