Following the discussion on Saturday 19th November, and to allay fears about privacy or lack of it I have done the following:
1. I have made the members email details 'Private' so only editors can read them.
2. Actually when someone joins, their membership has to be authorised by the Oldham Writing Cafe account, so it is not the case that anyone can join.
3. I have removed all my personal details from the Oldham Writing Cafe account and set myself an account up under the name Redvixen. I am going to send an email to Faye with the password for use with the OWC account.
4. I have removed everything that pertains to me on the TWITTER account and passed it over to Amanda, who is now tweeting away. See below for updates.
5. I have also linked the Twitter account with our new Facebook page and made Carol T an administrator on the page so she should be able to post our news on there too.
I trust this puts everyone's mind at rest.
Carolyn aka Redvixen

Except Wendy and Catherine can everyone else check out our new facebook page and LIKE it so you can be a member please. The groups function has been changed and thanks to Wendy who let me know, I have saved our group from being archived by changing our group to a page. Please check it out and add your news and comments. Thanks Carolyn x

If you want more information on Martin Edwards and his books, I have put a link to his homepage on the bookmarks section below on the right.

I've just spent ten minutes playing with Wordle and can recommend it http://www.wordle.net. There is a way of using the tool to give you a word count of how many times you've used a word in a piece, e.g. And! Create your wordle and then go to the Language tab in the toolbar above your finished wordle. It'll give you a count for each word. Nifty and very pretty!

Also as promised, go to Cafe Docs at the top of this page and click on it, it will take you to a new page where you will find a list of members user names against their real names.
There is also a contact list with members phone numbers on and another with email addresses. Please respect each others' privacy. Thanks-Carolyn x
