Frankfurt Tour 08: Offenbach Kickers v Nottingham Forest

As a Forest supporter desperate for the European days to return, I personally hadn't seen foreign opposition since the likes of Auxerre, Lyon and Bayern Munich visited the City Ground during the UEFA Cup campaign of the 95/96 season.

Ok, so we played Ajax and an India XI in friendlies a few seasons back and a pre-season trip to France under germany flag Paul Hart which I didn't go to. Oh yeah and even a mission to the United States with Big Fat Joe which again, I couldn't make because of financial difficulties but hey...I'm trying to build up this escapade to Germany.

And of course, the photos below showing just what two-and-a-half days boozing can do including five pints during the game in the Bieberer Berg Stadion. Another case of the stereotypical English drinking lots of lager but if you have as good a time as Frankfurt was then who the hell cares? Enjoy.
