Forest’s last away league game of the season sees the reds make the long visit to the North East to play Hartlepool United.

Hartlepool United and Nottingham Forest will be forever linked as the first and last clubs to be managed by Brian Clough who began his managerial journey at Hartlepool back in October 1965.

Hartlepool are now managed by a player who played at Forest under Brian Clough, former Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City manager Danny Wilson.

Hartlepool will be happy with their season with them achieving a comfortable mid-table position following last seasons promotion back to League One.

Leading Scorer for the club is former Mansfield striker Richie Barker who has scored 16 goals this season. He will hope to feature after recently returning to training following a hamstring injury. Also likely to feature are Michael Nelson and Joel Porter who scored in this fixture the last time the sides met at Hartlepool.
