Luton TownForest will be hoping to extend the current unbeaten run of four games on Saturday when Luton visit the City Ground. Luton will arrive on a low ebb after relegation was confirmed after losing at home to Brighton in their last game.

It has been a mixed season for Luton which reached a high when they drew at home with Liverpool in the F.A.Cup 3rd Round, a tie they earned by beating Forest in Round 2. But soon after that Liverpool game their season capsized when they went into administration, lost their manager and then their better players were sold to help clear debts.

The move administration which meant a penalty of 10 points has hurt the club and this was a major factor in getting their second relegation in two seasons. They have now been taken over by a consortium led by Midlands Today host Nick Owen and will be hoping for improved fortunes next season.

When Kevin Blackwell left during the crisis period he was replaced as manager by former star striker and former Forest caretaker manager Mick Harford and he will be buoyed by the form shown by striker Sam Parkin who has recovered from two seasons of injury problems since he joined the club to score in the last three matches.
