Tranmere BadgeWith the Play Offs as good as guaranteed for Forest, they enter Saturday’s game at Tranmere with a victory a bigger priority for Tranmere than for Forest as Tranmere currently sit one place out of the play off picture following last Saturday’s defeat at Walsall which saw the club overtaken by Leeds United.

They are managed by former player Ronnie Moore who has built up a highly respected reputation during his spell as manager at previous clubs Rotherham United and Oldham Athletic.

Also joining Ronnie Moore at the club this season is his son Ian Moore who will be familiar to Forest fans after having a spell at the City Ground in 1997-98. His career has now gone full circle after starting his career at Tranmere before the £1million transfer to Forest. His partner up front will be another player with Nottingham connections, former Mansfield striker Chris Greenacre who is the clubs top scorer this season with 13 goals.
