Forest head out on the road on Tuesday hoping for an improvement in their fortunes as they visit Roots Hall for a match up with Southend United.

Southend themselves will be keen to gain some points as they are chasing a play off place hoping for an immediate return to the Championship following last season’s relegation. In fact a win will bring them level on points with Forest.

Managed by Steve Tilson who has become one of the managerial hot properties following his transformation of the club from League Two strugglers to one of the best clubs outside of the top two divisions since his appointment in November 2003.

Recent form has improved since the signing of strikers Lee Barnard from Tottenham on a free transfer and James Walker from Charlton. Barnard has scored 4 in his 6 games for the club and Walker 2 in 4. Barnard is currently suffering from a hip injury so will be unlikely to feature whilst Walker is one of four current loan signings at the club with Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading), Anthony Grant (Chelsea) and Charlie Mulgrew (Wolves) being the others.
