Back to Away Days Written on 23-Aug-2010 by OldroydTime is scarce for me this week so this wont go past a few lines unfortunately.
It's now twelve games since our last away win so I hear. In truth, none of them have been that impressive although we should certainly have won at least one of the two league away games so far I feel. A real lack of cutting edge coupled with costly lapses of concentration are holding us back at the moment although, like last season, I get the impression we may have it in us to really kick on anytime soon.
There was a fair few of us down at the Raddy Majewski Stadium although we were confined to smaller groups. Some travelled by train, others went on the Test Match bus and met Neil Webb while I was in a car along with Mitchell, PL and Cags. There really isn't much else to do around the ground apart from head to the pub in the Holiday Inn so we inevitably ended up there and watched the demise of Derby at the Ricoh. There were probably more Forest fans in the bar than the Rams bothered to take to Coventry. 723, whether its on TV or not, is a measly effort.
The hunt for the first win goes on.
