The 22-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal which ties him to the club until 2011.
He told the club's official website: "I can safely say I've never been happier in my football career - I'm loving life with Forest,"
The right-back scored eight goals last season on Forest's way to promotion back to the Championship after signing from Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee in January 2007.
