Sunday 11th April saw the Riding Club Individual Show Jumping Championships which were held at Danescoft Equestrian Centre, Lisburn.  We are delighted with the members that requested to represent North Antrim Riding Club.  The competition was high and the riders had to prove they were of the standard required to attend.  First the competitors rode 2 rounds American Style and if they were clear they then competed in the 'Jump Off'.  North Antrim Riding Club were pleased to have several members represent the Club and the results are as follows:

Junior Novice

Amy Thompson went double clear and rode a 'Jump Off' round finishing with 4 faults.

Paige Watt had 4 faults in her initial 2 rounds with the planks causing the problem.

Courtney Watt had 12 faults, though delighted with riding an inexperienced horse.

Alice Wilson had 4 faults in her initial 2 rounds with Callie.

Junior Open

Alice Wilson riding Dawn rode well, getting double clear and through to the 'Jump Off' where she took 3rd place.

Senior Novice

Leah Stewart 4 faults on Beaumont

Melanie Moorhead 8 faults on Lady Phoenix

Rachel Cochrane riding Zarla 4 faults

All competitors were a credit to the North Antrim Riding Club.  WELL DONE!!
