Portballintrae Charity Show

Saturday 7th August was a terrific day for the many competitors that supported the North Antrim Riding Club and helped to raise funds for the Coleraine Riding for the Disabled.  The weather was kind to all and gave for good riding conditions throughtout the day.  The showing arenas as usual proved very popular and the high standard of competitors made the job of judging that bit more difficult for Sammy Smith, Portglenone and Pat Traynor, Ballymoney the Judges for the day.  The show jumping arenas were kept busy and an excellent day's entertainment for spectators and competitors alike was had.  The North Antrim Riding Club would like to extend their sincere thanks to Mr James Christie for providing the land, the Judges, Moyle Borough Council for providing the toilet facilities, everyone that helped on the day and lastly to the ever generous sponsors which include;  Colin Richmond Coleraine, David Christie 18 Greenhill Road Ballymoney (Redmills feeds), The Hip Chip, chip shop Bushmills, David Dunlop of Ballyness Caravan Park Bushmills, Glass' Fruit & Veg Bushmills, The Boat Club Portballintrae, Davy Monteith of Bush Fuels Bushmills & Choice Cuts Butchers Bushmills, without these generous sponsors we would not have been able to present such lovely prizes.  Results as follows:
