SECURITY INFORMATION

There is not much any of us can do if someone is intent on stealing your property.  What we can do is take every possible step to make this as difficult as possible for them to take or to move it on to someone else.  Here are some tips from our local PSNI Crime Prevention Unit:

IN THE EVENT OF YOUR PROPERTY BEING STOLEN you will be asked to provide certain information so you are advised to do the following:

  • Take photographs of your tack / trailer etc.
  • Write down the chassis number.
  • Make an identifying number or mark and keep a record of it.  Ensure no one else is aware of its presence.

Think about it.  If your trailer is stolen and the police find a trailer.  If you do not have any information about your trailer to prove the trailer is yours, who is to say the trailer found by the police is your property?

TO HELP PREVENT BUYING STOLEN SECOND HAND ITEMS  you are advised to take certain steps to prevent yourself from being caught in the triangle of stolen goods being sold on to unaware genuine people.  You are advised to:

  • Before paying for the item i.e. a horse box for example, take a note of the chassis number and have it checked with the local PSNI through stolen property etc.  This protects you from buying stolen goods which could later be taken from you.

Click on the file name above and open the printable pages to create a dressage folder.  At the top right of the pages is the page number for the order in which they should be inserted into a folder (prior to printing you can delete this text).  Pages 3 & 4 is where the actual dressage test that you are learning will appear.  When putting your folder together add empty pouches for the test pages that you have done and through time you will have built up a history of your dressage test.  Any problems let me know at fionainthestables@hotmail.co.uk
