Braid Drag Hounds & North Antrim Riding Club
Join Forces For Childrens Hospice
Saturday 19th March in the Historic Causeway town of Bushmills the general public were treated to the amazing sight of hounds, horses and riders that came out to raise funds for the Childrens' Hospice. The weather could not have been kinder and made for some good riding on the day. The course had been prepared by Vincent Traynor, Martin Dillon & a band of volunteers during the week before the hunt, many thanks to all that helped as without you the job is that bit harder.
As the hunt made its way through Bushmills the general public seemed delighted with the spectacle and many tourists used the opportunity for photographs. The hunt progressed to open fields where fences had been constructed adding to the natural hedges that provided a variety of jumps. It was a pleasure for all riders to be able to raise funds for such a great cause and it was much delight that a cheque was presented to the Childrens' Hospice. Special thanks must go to the land owners for allowing this charity hunt to take place.
