4th Annual Norway Day Festival - Saturday, April 10, 2010, 10-5 PM, Thurston County Fairgrounds, 3054 Carpenter Road SE, Olympia. Please join us as we celebrate the foods, customs, crafts, and entertainment of Norway. You don't have to be Norwegian or go to Norway to experience the joy of Norwegian culture. Bring your appetite and enjoy the traditional Norwegian pea soup and delectables like krumkake, sandbakkels, rommebrod, smulteringer, Oslo kringle, julekake, fattigmann, and much more. There will be lots of artwork, crafts, giftware, and baked goods to purchase, and demonstrations of rosemaling, krumkake and lefse making to enjoy. Join us on Saturday April 17 from 10 AM to 5 PM in the Expo Center at the Thurston County Fairgrounds. Admission is $2. Children under 12 are free with an adult.
