Our most recent concert was our Christmas Carol Cnncert at the United Reformed Church, Oldland on Wednesday 14th December 2011
On Saturday 12th November 2011 there was a concert at St Mary's Church, Leigh Woods
On Friday 23rd September 2011 there was a concert at Keynsham Methodist Church.
On Thurs 17th June 2011 a concert was given to mark the 200th Anniversary of the United Reformed Church, Oldland.
Prior to this was a full concert at St Anne's Church, Oldland on Sat 11th June 2011
A full concert was given at St Aldhelm's Church, Bedminster on Saturday 5th March 2011.
The first performance of our Christmas Concert took place at St Anne's Church, Oldland on Wednesday 8th December 2010 and was a huge success. We had a large, appreciative audience who gave generously in a retiring collection for the work of the Children's Hospice South West.
The second performance of our Christmas Concert which took place at St Mary's Church, Bitton on Wednesday 15th December 2010 was also well received.
The programme for both concerts consisted of a number of new settings to well known Christmas Carols plus several items from The Messiah. It also included 'Christmas Celebration' by Karl Jenkins (1. In dulci jubilo. 2. Silent Night. 3. Lullay 4. Go tell it on the mountains. 5. Sleep, Child of Winter. 6. Son of Maria.)
Prior to this a full concert took place at Fishponds Methodist Church on Friday 24th September 2010. The first half of this concert was mainly sacred pieces including pieces by Mendelssohn, Handel, Karl Jenkins & Cesar Franck whilst the second part was secular.
