Victorian Tentacle

Dan Hiller has another name for it. He just call it Lovers. Another caption, anyone?

    paulsari says:

"I've got a rabbit in my hat and a snake up my sleeve."

Hmm ... on a more serious note, it reminds of The Smiths' lyrics:

"Two lovers entwined pass me by
And heaven knows I'm miserable now."

p.s. am glad for the introduction to Hiller's illustrations!

Snake? That's an octopus! But yeah, it wouldn't sound as good. as yours. I like it. And now that you mentioned it, I can't take the song out of my mind...

    cristian.saracco says:

    Slaves of the Stockholm syndrome

Wow, Cristian, that sounds more like a Heavy Rock Band! But... it made me think whether some kind of passion-crime-victimisation (or however it's called) could fall under the Stockholm Syndrom... and according to the wikipeadia, it certainly does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome

    cristian.saracco says:

Painfull love... (sounds like a play-back duet)

    patencia says:

Yeah, I like that better Cristian.
If it was a squid and not an octopus (and to take The Smith's tune out of my mind for a while), "Tainted Love", could suit it nicely as well ...

    roicinho [http://www.pormisfogones.eu] says:

    "Delicate energy".

I don't know what Hiller knew about octopuses but being an animal with three hearts and an unbelievable grip with a fine sense of touch it illustrates perfectly the concept.

It is also delicious, as it should be.

I wonder what Alberto has to say about this.
