- NCJLT General Membership Meeting will be on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 4:15m-5:15pm. We will address the merger of NCJLT and ATJ and the new organization American Association of Teachers of Japanese.
- This years’ NCJLT special session is “The sixth year of AP Japanese: Where do we go from here? “ The speakers are Sufumi So-sensei (George Mason University) and Laurel Rodd-sensei (University of Colorado). It is from 5:30pm-6:30pm. We would like teachers from all the levels to attend this session, so that we can think about vertical articulation through the AP Japanese test together.
- NCJLT Network Reception will be immediately after the special session until 8:30pm. We will have some finger food and a cash bar. Please join us to get to know other teachers in a casual setting.
- We will have the Japan Pavilion again this year. There will be a special booth for the new organization “AATJ” to answer your questions and concerns. We are also planning some fun events at the Japan Pavilion every day. Please visit us multiple times a day.
