A big welcome to the [NBC] from Gunner24.

Many of you will know me from the ntw2 chat lobby games, and various Napoleonic forums.

After having a good look around the site, should you like what you see and wish to join us as a full Clan member, please hit the "join this webjam" button, to the right.

The question has to be asked, there are many good exsisting Clans, so why join [NBC] ?.

Because [NBC] has already in it's short life proven to be one of the best  Napoleonic Clans in the community.  We will challange the best, not just on the battlefields of ntw2, but also in future games due to be seen over the next 18 months [ETW, LG, LGS].

Our ambitions are high, and our behaviour will be to standards that only the very best can match. Great skill in game play is to be admired, but so too is a high standard of behaviour by Clans like the [N] and KO.  

[NBC] is not quite as formal as the traditional Clans, with a little more relaxed atmosphere than usual, but when it comes to standards of behaviour, only the best will be good enough.

Loutish behaviour should not, and will not be tolerated within [NBC].

Those who join us will have much to look forward to in the future. Those that stand against us, will see many honourable conflicts over the various battlefields of the Napoleonic gaming world.

As a [NBC] member it would be expected that you become involved in MP games and forum contributions.  There will be no strict rules and regulations on how much time members should spend on Clan matters - we all have "real lives" that keep us busy, well not me, but most people.

As long as members make some effert in contributing to the Clan there will be no instructions in the actions they should or should not take.

On the other hand, anyone that does wish to get more heavily involved, will be encouraged to do so.  If anyone has a "pet" project or idea that may be suitable to include in, or link to [NBC], then we will do out best to make it happen.

[NBC] is not a Clan that will get immersed in “red tape”. It is for Napoleonic War Game players who want an enjoyable experience, with other like minded individuals, without too much fuss and formality.

The objective of the [NBC] is to bring together a group of players to play Napoleonic games, such as ntw2, ETW, LG and LGS (when they appear), in a serious, but also a fun and enjoyable manor. 

Winning games and battles is great, but playing well and enjoying the game with other members of the Napoleonic gaming community is far more important.

While having fun is a high priorty, it's also good to be able to challange the better players.  These are often (but not always), Clan members like [N], KO and the Grogs, to name just a few of the larger ones.  The ability to play with a known group of players does lead to a sharing of tactics and idea's, which can only lead to a better experience all round.

New members will be welcomed into the organisation without any need for an interview or reference. As long as you are able to behave in a mannor that fits in with the [NBC] standards then everyone is welcome.

[NBC] is only a few months old, but already has become well established with many active members.  Anyone joining in at this early stage will be a member of a Clan that can only grow in size as ntw2, and in future Etw, LG and LGS give us all many hours of pleasure.

[NBC] will be happy to have both "old" and "new" player's in it's ranks.  We will try to make the Napoleonic pc gaming world an enjoyable place to be, with a friendly, relaxed, but sometimes, competitive atmosphere.
