Retired in Ohio He thought

Mostly images.
Ice covered trees from the night before,
beautiful, crystal morning.
cold day,bright and quiet.

Mid day brought avoidance of helping
with lesson plans and curriculum posting.
A nap accomplished most of that successfully.

I watched the news tonight.
Not the ordinary news, the political news.
The History Channel is on re-runs.
The family and comedy shows were over.
Talk shows are interesting but I wonder,
is there a great left wing conspiracy?

The only thing broadcast on Tuesday
were clips of Hillary’s worn, tired lying eyes.
She doesn’t even know that she lies.
She must lie to herself over and over, lest why,
other than money and power would any woman
of intelligence, or truth have stayed with Bill.

I love to here him talk, but he, like them all,
says the same blithering things over and over.
I think that they paid the local stations to cut over,
away from Obama.  One blonde cheerleader type
news reporter even cut in on a live broadcast for Obama.

Seems they had an unquenced need to tell us one more time
what Hillary thought about something. I don’t think,
that she thinks any more. They all make my brain
numb with disappointment. Maybe that is why politico types
have worked so hard to dumb down America, so that we find
joy in the obvious repetition of the masters of deception.
I did not intend to watch this just before bed time, but I did.

Without thinking another word out loud, I accept my own apology.
Good night.
